Swiss Chard or Spinach Gratin

  1. Sauté chard stems and then leaves (or the spinach) on high heat with a little garlic or onion
  2. Set aside
  3. Make a roux with 3Tbls butter and 3Tbls flour
  4. Whisk in 1 cup milk
  5. Layer in a buttered 8x8: Greens, Roux, Cheeses
  6. Salt and Fresh Pepper
  7. Bake at 350 for 30min

Thin slices of buttered bread on top can be nice
